Pregnancy + Birth Support
A birth doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to their client throughout pregnancy, during labor and birth, and in the postpartum period to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. The goal of a doula is to help expecting parents understand their options and know what to expect during pregnancy, birth, and beyond! Doulas are a listening ear, a wealth of information, and a rock-solid support on the biggest day of your life.
During pregnancy, I'll help you understand your options, answer your questions, and help you plan for your birth and postpartum. We'll get together for meetings to talk about everything to do with labor and delivery and make sure that you're prepared and know what to expect. During labor, I'll be by your side from the early contractions until your baby is in your arms, guiding you, encouraging you, and helping you through whatever happens. Once baby arrives, I'm just a text message away for your questions and worries, and we'll get together in your home for help with recovery, feeding, baby care, and more!
